STEM Enrichment
Science and Inquiry based workshops for early childhood centers and elementary classrooms
Mountain Top Explorium is excited to offer our engaging STEM Enrichment workshops for the 2023/24 school year. Our workshops are designed to supplement your teachers' classroom curriculum through STEAM activities as well as take home projects. Each workshop is an hour long excluding set up and clean up by our instructors.
Historically, we have provided grant funded workshops to a limited number of classrooms and intend to again this year, however the grantors funds are still pending. As soon as these funds are made available to MTE we will let you know. These workshops start at $250 for up to 30 children. Children's
Museum Visit
MTE is proud to offer exclusive pricing for classrooms to visit our
children’s museum at $10/child.
Children will get to visit the children's museum for up to two hours. An additional educational workshop can be added for an additional cost. Registration required by emailing info@mountaintopbreck.org.
Classroom Workshop
MTE will set up inside your
classroom for the science workshop/demonstration. Enough floor space for each
child to sit and have space in front of them is recommended.
We look forward to giving your classroom an experience to grow their love for science!
Outdoor Workshop
Mountain Top will set up outside your classroom door for the science workshop/demonstration. Each child will be given a tray to use for their hands-on activity, if applicable.
Depending on weather, this workshop will require children to dress warm to attend a 1 hour workshop.
Rescheduling due to weather is permitted.
How to Register for an Outreach Science Workshop:
Choose from a menu of theme related workshops or work with Mountain Top to create a workshop designed to fit with your classroom curriculum. All classroom workshops are to be reserved in advance. Scheduling is on a first come, first serve basis.
