ExploriumFest is 4-days of free exploration and adventure at Mountain Top Explorium. From November 29 to December 2nd, we invite local & visiting families to discover the wonders of the Explorium absolutely free of charge. Experience the countless opportunities available within the Explorium and learn about our vision for an exciting future which includes a complete reimagination of our current space. Each day will be packed with engaging activities for both children and adults. Join us as we look to the future!

Special Happy Hour Event

November 30, 2023

4:00p-6:00p

Join us on Thursday, November 30th for a unique event that caters to adults but children are also welcome. The happy hour with food and drink hosted by our neighbors at Castaways Cove Restaurant and Tiki Bar, will also feature an astronomy program facilitated by our resident astronomer, Asto Mark Laurin.

Wednesday, November 29: 10a-12p Face Painting

Join us for a morning of play and face painting. We will have a special art activity and a face painting artist ready to transform your child into a creation of their choosing.

Thursday, November 30: 10a-12p Gold Panning with Breckenridge History

Uncover the town's rich mining heritage at Mountain Top Explorium for an immersive gold panning experience put on by our friends at Breckenridge History. Join us at 10a for a short interactive lesson before getting the chance to try out to find some gold with our indoor gold panning experience.

Friday, December 1: 10a-12p Craft Time with Frosted Flamingo

It’s craft time with Frosted Flamingo! Come join us at 10a as we host a craft experience with art education professional, Becca Spiro. Come and build a cork boat and make it float across the high seas!

Saturday, December 2: 10a-11a Toddler Yoga with Yogi Elise - At South Branch Library

Join us for a delightful kids' yoga class designed for parents and toddlers! This is perfect for children ages 3-5. In this interactive and playful session, you and your little one will embark on a magical yoga adventure together. Through imaginative storytelling, gentle poses, and bonding moments, you'll nurture their physical and emotional well-being while creating lasting memories. Come discover the joy of yoga as a family! Yoga mats are available for those who don’t have their own yoga mat.

Saturday, December 2: 5:30p-7p Pictures with Santa

Following the Lighting of Breckenridge come back to the Explorium for a magical encounter with Santa Claus where kids can share their wish lists and parents can capture holiday moments.
