Exhibit & Program Coordinator 

The Exhibit & Program Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of Mountain Top Explorium’s state licensed and enrichment programs (after school, school break, STEM Enrichment, and summer camp programs). The position is a diverse role which includes program facilitation, parent communication, customer experience, curriculum development, community partner outreach, staff collaboration, and operational oversight of exhibit spaces. This is designed as an entry level supervisory position aimed to provide experience and professional development within all aspects of program and museum administration. Spanish speaking ability is not required but strongly preferred. 

Marketing & Exhibit Program Specialist

Mountain Top Explorium is seeking a part-time Marketing & Exhibit Program Specialist to drive community engagement and deliver exceptional children's programming. This position combines program facilitation, parent outreach, and exhibit management across our exhibit spaces and programs such as Craft and Story Time, STEAM Saturdays, Monthly Community Workshops, Kids Night Out, and more. The ideal candidate is an adaptable communicator passionate about programming and community connection. Spanish speaking ability is not required but strongly preferred.​​​​

4-Day Work Week

Our schedule is designed on a 10 hour day allowing 3-full-day off which allows more time to explore and adventure the mountains surrounding Breckenridge. There are also a few part-time opportunities working for 1-3 days.

We work to foster an inclusive summer camp community with structured activities for staff, a supportive work environment, and several perks including discounts from many outdoor gear manufacturers. 

Training & Development 

We provide coaching and feedback sessions, and a guided mentorship program. It's our goal that every staff members is able to use their position as a stepping stone for their next career opportunity whether at Mountain Top, in Breckenridge or elsewhere. 

Breckenridge

All our programs are based in Breckenridge, Colorado, offering an incredible backdrop for outdoor adventure both on and off the clock. We know that finding a place to live in a mountain town can feel daunting, but you won't have to do it alone. Our team is dedicated to helping you navigate the local market to secure either seasonal or year-round housing.

School-Year Job Openings

Lead Facilitator - School Year

Lead Facilitators supervise children (5-12 years old) and facilitate planned activities (art projects, science experiments, field trips, hikes, group games & more) for our after school, school break, and/or Kids Night Out programs. Lead Facilitators serve a variety of roles including the support of curriculum design,  parent communication, and meeting the needs of the overall programs according to Mountain Top Explorium risk management and Colorado State Licensing standards.

Leads must be at least 18 years old, have prior experience working with children, and the ability to become certified in first aid and CPR

Job Type: Part Time, School Year          Hourly: $19-23/hr DOE

Program Intern

The Program Intern is a paid development position providing learning opportunities within the field of education. As an intern progresses through the internship program there is opportunity for progressive responsibility and pay. Responsibilities include supporting the facilitation of programming and assisting Program Facilitators with group management. The program is designed to be flexible and integrate into an intern's schedule to accommodate outside constraints due to other extracurricular activities such as clubs, theater, or sports.

 

It’s important to note that this is a paid experience and all interns are expected to comply with their agreed upon schedule. Flexible schedule and hours.
