Mountain Top Explorium is excited to offer after school and school break programs! We will begin with a School Break program on January 15th before consistent After School starts on January 16th. Registration will open on December 19th at 10am.
We appreciate your patience as we solidify all details necessary to roll out these important community programs. We will share more information on our After School & School Break webpage and through email as we solidify details. See below for some of the details that we have already solidified.
After School
After school will be hosted at both Breckenridge & Upper Blue Elementary Schools with a capacity of 15 students at each school. All after school programs will be held Monday-Thursday each day school is in session. These fully licensed programs will be STEM based and include physical activity plus a small snack. Students can be registered for individual days or a full week of Monday-Thursday programming. Each program will be from the end of the school day followed by a flexible pick-up from 5-5:30p. We understand that this is a shortened duration from our previous after school program. This change is due to staffing constraints as we work to build consistent programs.
School Break
School Break Programs will be held at either Upper Blue or Breckenridge Elementary Schools depending on scheduling determined by the Summit School District. The program will be limited to students currently enrolled in Summit School District. Program locations will be identified on our websites and all program specific communications.
Program Pricing
Mountain Top Explorium is diligently working to secure grant and donor support to reduce the cost and expense of these programs for our families. It is our goal to keep program costs as low as possible while also providing additional financial support for those families experiencing financial barriers. We will be publishing program prices and scholarship information shortly.
