Building on 25 years of summer magic, Mountain Top Explorium is thrilled to partner with Far View Horse Rescue for an unforgettable Summit Series adventure. This is more than a riding camp offering campers the opportunity to dive into equine care and rehabilitation, learning how to nurture rescued animals while building compassion, teamwork, and leadership in a hands-on, outdoor environment that sparks confidence and social-emotional growth.

Weekly Highlights

Hands-On Stewardship & Creativity: Campers join the rescue team, helping with morning chores and daily care for horses, ponies, burros, goats, and even the barn cat—learning responsibility while making a real impact. Between animal time, campers enjoy crafts and games.
The Equine Journey: Explore the world of rescued animals with an interactive curriculum covering their basic needs and the inspiring stories behind their rehabilitation.
Skill Building & Riding: Build confidence in the saddle! Campers start with instructor-led riding sessions and progress toward a solo walk through easy obstacles, gaining skills and courage along the way.
Trail Ride: At the culmination of the week, campers will spend a half day on a trail ride at Platte Ranch
