Meet Our Summer Camp Staff!

Updated: Jun 25

Anika (she/her)

I am a Colorado native who loves Breckenridge and cannot wait to spend the summer with Mountain Top! Born and raised on the western slope, I grew up with a deep passion for the outdoors. I love to hike, swim, snowboard and travel. Since graduating university, I have taught ESL in various countries around the world. Now, I find myself back in this beautiful place I get to call home, eager to explore the area, create new memories, and make a positive impact on these amazing kiddos! Here’s to an awesome summer!

Anna (she/her)

Hey y’all! My name is Anna and I’m so excited to work for Mountain Top this summer! I am only in Summit County temporarily as I will return this fall to Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington for my junior year. I am majoring in Biology and Environmental Studies. I am determined to dedicate my life to learning about nature, teaching others about nature, and protecting and loving nature in all its forms. I love to hike, read, go to the gym, and play guitar. I can’t wait to get to know you all this summer!

Ava (she/they)

Hi! My name is Ava and I have been working in the child care industry since the age of 14! I started with neighborhood babysitting gigs and moved into various summer camps teaching water sports and other activities! During the winter, I am a full-time kids snowboard instructor at Keystone Resort and loving every second of it! This is my first summer in Summit County and I plan to be here for the foreseeable future! On my off times you can catch me on the slopes either hiking, biking, or boarding!!

Emma (she/her)

This will be my third summer in Breck and I am originally from Connecticut. My love for working with kids started with babysitting and has extended to my internships as I work towards my DPT.  I love all things outdoors like hiking, climbing, and camping. I am super excited to work outdoors and meet a new part of the community!

Henny (he/they)

Hi y’all! My name is Henny and I moved from Boston to Breckenridge last winter to work as an adaptive ski instructor. I love working in outdoor education and I’m so excited to be helping out with MTE’s awesome summer programs. Outside of work I enjoy climbing, biking, and crocheting cute little sea animals. Something I can’t wait to try this summer is mountain unicycling, one of the least efficient ways to go down a trail!

Livvy (she/her)

Hello my name is Livvy, I am currently working to complete my Ed.S. in School Psychology through the University of Denver, and am passionate about supporting students and families in Summit county. I came to this field through working with neuro-diverse students at the National Center for Disabled Sports, in Winter Park, Colorado as a ski instructor. When I’m not at camp I spend my time skiing, dancing, and painting watercolors!

Zach (he/him)

When I’m not picking up heavy things and putting them back down, I’m on the mountain. Whether it’s MTB or Snowboarding I love exploring the wilderness! When I’m not at camp I manage the Snow Schoolers Schi School based out of the Frisco Adventure park and work as a personal trainer at Gravity House!
