Choose Your Own Adventure: The Ultimate Guide to Summer 2026

General registration opens on February 19th and Members Early Access opens on February 17th.

After nearly 25 years of history, Summer 2026 is shaping up to be our best yet! We’ve reimagined our beloved programs to preserve the traditions kids love while introducing fresh ways to make every day unforgettable. General registration opens on February 19th and Members Early Access opens on February 17th.

Choose Your Adventure: Three Ways to Play

We’ve expanded our summer offerings into three distinct pathways, so every explorer can find their perfect fit.

Mountain Top Base Camp: (Formerly Mountain Top Day) The classic camp experience you know and love—leveled up! Base Camp now features age-specific Discovery Time rooms, brand-new Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and imaginative themes like Explorosaurus.

Summit Series: A focused, small-group experience (10–13 campers). These Monday–Thursday intensives dive deep into themes like Ranch Camp, Photography, Vex Robotics, and Studio Breck. Optional "Base Camp Friday" available!

Explorium Leadership Corps (ELC): Designed for grades 6–9. This mentor-based program combines leadership workshops with hands-on experience assisting younger campers. Plus, our Week 1 Leadership & Lifesaving course includes a American Red Cross Babysitting & CPR Certification.

Evening Extensions: Join us for the evening or an overnight sleepover through our Kids Night Out or Night at the Museum program. Both experiences can serve extend your day camp or serve as a standalone experience

What’s New at Base Camp?

While we’re keeping the heart of camp the same, we’re leveling up the experience. Here’s just a short list of some of the program additions.

Tailored Environments: Mornings and afternoons now begin in age-exclusive rooms with custom activities.

More Water Time: In 2025 we added kayaking. In 2026 we’re adding Stand-up Paddle Boarding

Grand Games: New, large-group challenges designed to be inclusive and high-energy.

What Stays the Same?

The "Mountain Top Magic" isn’t going anywhere. You can still count on:

Total Flexibility: Sign up for a day, a week, or the whole summer.

Evening Options: Extend your camp program with Kids’ Night Out on every Thursday. We’ll also continue the Night at the Museum which includes an overnight camp.

Local Exploration: Daily adventures across Breckenridge and Summit County via our vans and the local transit.

Our Staff: The same inspiring mentors who make every summer special.
