Mountain Top Explorium has both a Base Camp and Summit Series. Base Camp is a traditional day camp program located in Breckenridge, CO fusing STEM and outdoor education. Campers can sign up for the day, week or entire summer. Summit Series programs are specialty programs exploring a single topic for 4-days within a small cohort of campers.

Get ready to become a local explorer! Backyard Adventures turns campers into VIPs of Summit County, with daily field trips to exciting destinations like Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Keystone—or splashing around at Dillon Marina. Discover the thrills that draw visitors from around the world and uncover the hidden gems that make our backyard legendary.

Cost:
Before March 5 $425 (Summit District: $350)
After March 5th $475 (Summit District: $375)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 to 5:30 PM (option to add Friday Base Camp)
Weekly Highlights

Breckenridge Resort: Experience high-energy mountain thrills including rock climbing, mini-golf, the bungee jumping trampoline, and a ride down the iconic alpine slide.
Keystone Resort: Take a scenic gondola ride to the summit for high-alpine views before heading to the village for lakeside activities and a round of mountain frisbee golf.
Copper Resort: Tackle a variety of unique attractions including the Wrecktangle ninja course, the Rocky Mountain Coaster, go-karts, bumper boats, and the bungee trampoline.
Frisco: Explore the shores of the Dillon Reservoir via stand-up paddleboarding, venture through the Frisco Historic Area, and hit the local trails for a scenic day hike.
